All applications are screened by the Human Resources Department based upon the minimum job requirements of the posting. Only applicants meeting minimum stated qualifications will be considered. To be considered a candidate for a position with the PCBDD, the application and related material must be received in Human Resources by 4:00 p.m. of the posting deadline.
Some positions require that the applicant hold or be eligible to obtain a certification, licensure and/or registration. If you are applying for any of these positions, provide the appropriate credential information on the application. If you are hired, the original certificate/license and/or registration will be required for review and copying. In addition, official transcripts will be required from those who have completed college or coursework related to the position.
The Human Resources Department will notify interviewed applicants as to the status of their candidacy.
All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a job-related medical examination, drug screen, a criminal history background check, satisfactory reference checks; and for some positions, a driving abstract, proof of insurance and appropriate BMV licensure. In addition, final employment decisions must be approved by the Superintendent.
