Blue Bombers take the Bronze at State Games for Softball
The Blue Bombers participated in the State Games for Special Olympics on Saturday, September 13th in Oregon, Ohio. They lost their first game 18-8 to Franklin NW, even though Ben Salvo hit a Grand Slam Home Run! The second game was against Darke County DD. Logan Cox hit 3 HR’s, Dan Crawford hit 3 HR’s and Ben Salvo hit 1 HR to help the Bombers win 24-10 and secure 3rd place! Under the coaching of Jamie Alexander and Chad Konkle, the team made quite a name for themselves as a first year team! They had fun; they played well together, encouraged each other and had a few laughs along the way!
Way to go Bombers!!
