The Board Thanks Brian Bialik for Outstanding Service

Brain Bialik, who served on the Board for over 10 years, left the Board effective December 31, 2012. Mr. Bialik was ineligible for reappointment to another four-year term beginning in 2013. Mr. Bialik was originally appointed to serve out an unexpired term in 2002 by Probate Court Judge Thomas Carnes and subsequently served two additional four-year terms beginning in 2005 and 2009. Mr. Bialik twice held office as President, Vice President, and Recording Secretary and served on numerous Board committees during his membership.
Photo of Brian Bialik At his last meeting on December 12, 2012, Mr. Bialik was recognized by the Board and the Administration for his years of services, his commitment, and the countless contributions he made as a Board member which improved the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in Portage County. At that meeting, he was presented with a plaque of recognition and appreciation and a commemorative gavel by Superintendent Pat Macke on behalf of the Board (pictured above).
The Board sincerely thanks Mr. Bialik for his outstanding service and wishes him health and prosperity in the New Year and continued success in his personal and professional life!
