Eagle Scout Candidate, Nate Condos of Troop 257 in Kent, presented a short PowerPoint presentation to the Board at its meeting on May 15, 2013 on the service project he completed for his attainment of Eagle Scout status. One of the requirements to reach Eagle Scout status is that the candidate must plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to any religious institution, school or the community. Mr. Condos’ service project was the planning and completion of a bocce ball court at Portage Industries that would be used by the Special Olympics bocce ball team.
